HealthCare Symposium 2009
Annual Client Conference
Draws Influential Crowd

March 29, 2009 -- Thought leaders, opinion shapers, influential senior executives from over 100 healthcare and insurance organizations attended Munich Re America HealthCare’s (MRAHC) annual conference  in Scottsdale, AZ. In addition to a full agenda of prominent speakers, the conference’s success over its ten year history has come just as much from the quality of attendees. “It’s the people, you and your colleagues, who drive this program, making it second to none in our industry,” said Ed Griese, President, Munich Health—North America.

“...We are pleased to host this annual gathering…a community of exceptional talent seeking better ideas, better solutions to the challenges we face."
~Ed Griese,
President,
Munich Health—North America

The conference featured six speakers over two days including FREAKONOMICS author Steven Levitt and Karen Ignagni, President of America’s Health Insurance Plans, who shared her observations about the likelihood of significant health policy reform from Washington this year. There was also a full range of social activities from golf to skeet shooting.
